1. Overview of the Service

Pixel Journal is an iOS mobile app published by Esteban Reynier, an independent developer, that allows users to track their mood, habits, and well-being on a daily basis using a "Year in Pixels" system.

The app is available for download on the Apple App Store. Use of the app is subject to these Terms of Service.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pixel Journal app, you unconditionally accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the app.

4. Description of the Service

Pixel Journal offers the following features:

• Daily mood and habit tracking through thematic trackers
• Annual visualization as a grid of colored pixels ("Year in Pixels")
• Monthly calendar view
• Statistics and trends on recorded data
• Customizable reminders

5. Plans and Pricing

5.1. Free Version

The free version lets you use a limited number of trackers and certain Pixel Journal features. Additional slots may be unlocked under the conditions shown in the app.

5.2. Premium Version

The Premium version is available through an in-app purchase and provides access to all trackers (17 total), advanced statistics, CSV data export, iOS widgets, and private iCloud sync.

Prices are displayed in the app and on the App Store. Subscriptions are managed by Apple through in-app purchases. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple account settings.

6. Personal Data

Tracking data is stored locally on your device. After onboarding, if you are a Premium user and iCloud is available to the app, it may sync automatically with the private database of your Apple account. Pixel Journal does not operate a server containing a copy of your journal. Pseudonymous usage, attribution, and purchase events are nevertheless processed by the providers described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Pixel Journal app (design, pixel art illustrations, mascots, source code, text, logo) are the exclusive property of Esteban Reynier and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, modification, or distribution of all or part of the app is prohibited.

8. Liability

Pixel Journal is a personal tracking tool and does not constitute a medical device or a substitute for professional medical advice. The data and statistics provided are for informational purposes only.

The publisher shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the app, including local data loss or an unavailable iCloud restoration.

9. Availability

The publisher strives to ensure the proper functioning of the app but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Interruptions for maintenance or updates may occur.

10. Changes to Terms

The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of substantial changes through the app. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts shall be those of the publisher's place of residence, unless otherwise provided by law.
